deeper
At Luke252.com we like to get more from our Bible stories. Instead of simply reading about John the Baptist’s snack of locusts and honey we decided to create a version of that tasty treat for ourselves.
If you’ve been itching for a place to go deeper…this is it. Check with your parents for the OK, and then dig deeper into the stories of the Bible and experience them in entirely new ways. Of course, we’re not saying that it’s easy to create and eat a moldy bread s’more, but, we bet you won’t forget the experience or the story that goes along with it!

Eyeball Eggs
You’ll be the talk of the party when you show up with your tray of eyeballs. Eyeball eggs that is. And guess what? They’re really quite tasty—kind of a 2:52 version of the deviled egg (there’s got to be a joke in that somewhere—we’ll leave that to you).
Difficulty:
2
Ingredients:
6 shelled, hard-boiled eggs
1/4 cup of mayo
1/2 teaspoon Gulden's Brown Mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 small onion chopped finely
Paprika
Blue or green food coloring
Optional sliced black olives
Directions:
1. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
2. Mash the yolks well until they become a fine powder. Stir in the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and onion, then mix well. (NOTE: Depending on how moist your yolks are, you may need to adjust the amount of mayonnaise in this recipe. The yolk mixture should have the consistency of cake frosting; fairly stiff but spreadable.) To make your yolks extra yucky, just add a few drops of blue or green food coloring to the mixture!
3. Spoon the yolk mixture back into the hollows of the whites in small mounds.
4. Top things off by sprinkling a bit of paprika over the yolk mixtures for decoration.
5. Add one slice of black olive on top of each egg. Now they really look like eyeballs!
